Same day end of tenancy cleaning London: how it works

We plan most cleans a few days ahead, and our weekend and same-week slots are the reliable option when time is short. A same-day clean is possible only when a team is free on that day, so we never promise one before we have checked. Same-day cleans depend on availability: call 07938 040001 first thing to check, and we will tell you straight away whether we can do it today, or offer the earliest slot we have.

If we can't fit you in today, it is usually still worth calling. A clean the next morning, or at the weekend, is often enough to get the property ready before the check-out inspection, especially if the agent can move the appointment by a day.

When the agent gives you a short check-out date

A last minute end of tenancy cleaning booking usually starts with an email from the letting agent confirming a check-out date sooner than expected, or a move that has slipped and left no time to clean. Before you panic, take three steps:

• Confirm the exact check-out time. Ask the agent whether the inspection is morning or afternoon, and whether keys need to be returned before it. That tells us the real deadline.
• Ask whether the date can move. Many agents will shift a check-out by a day if you ask early. Under the Tenant Fees Act 2019 a landlord can't make you pay for a professional clean, but they can deduct for cleaning needed to return the property to its check-in condition, so an extra day to get it right can be worth asking for.
• Call us with the details. The sooner we know the postcode, size and deadline, the more options we have.

What we need to quote an urgent end of tenancy clean fast

To give you a fixed price and a slot quickly, have these ready when you call or email:

• Postcode. So we can match you with a team and check parking. On pay-and-display streets, in a controlled parking zone or inside the Congestion Charge zone, we tell you any parking cost before you book.
• Size of the property. Number of bedrooms and bathrooms, or whether it is a room in a flatshare.
• Photos. A few photos of the kitchen, bathroom and oven help us judge how much work there is.
• The check-in report. If you have the inventory, send it. We clean to it, and it shows what condition the clerk will compare against.
• Add-ons. Whether you need the oven, fridge freezer, washing machine and dishwasher, pet work or carpet cleaning.

How a bigger team shortens the clean

The scope of the clean doesn't change when time is short. Every room is still done to inventory standard: kitchen cupboards and drawers inside and out, bathrooms descaled, inside windows, frames, sills and tracks, skirting boards, doors, switches, sockets and radiators, and floors vacuumed and mopped. What changes is how many people do it.

Where we have the cleaners available, we can send a bigger team so that the kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms are worked on at the same time. That shortens the time on site, which helps when you need to hand keys back the same afternoon or the clean has to fit around removal men. Tell us your deadline and we will say what team we can send.

Keys when you have already moved out

Short-notice cleans often happen after the tenant has left London or started a new job. You don't need to be there. Key collection and return can be arranged from your letting agent, a building concierge or a neighbour, so the property can be cleaned and the keys handed back ready for the check-out inspection.

Weekend end of tenancy cleaning and prices

Weekend end of tenancy cleaning is often the best option for tenants who work during the week or whose tenancy ends on a Monday. Prices are the same fixed prices as our planned cleans, and your price is confirmed before booking, with VAT included.

A room in a flatshare starts from £95, a studio from £159, one bedroom from £189, two bedrooms from £235, three from £289, four from £349 and a five-bedroom house from £429. Add-ons are priced separately: single oven interior £55, fridge freezer interior £25, washing machine and dishwasher £19, and pet work from £20. Carpet cleaning is arranged with an independent partner from £35 a room and confirmed separately, so on a short timescale it may need its own slot. The 72-hour re-clean guarantee still applies

A rushed booking doesn't mean a weaker guarantee. Every end of tenancy clean includes our deposit-back guarantee, backed by our 72-hour re-clean guarantee: if your letting agent or landlord raises a cleaning point in the agreed work, tell us within 72 hours of completion and we come back and re-clean it free. If the check-out is booked for the day after the clean, that window comfortably covers it.
